I would like to express that I have found the mentorship of MTS and Kathy Garber at Structural Trading to be a very valuable resource in understanding and working the markets.  If you can figure out the pulse and direction of the SP500 you will have learned a very valuable guide to trading.  Between Kathy’s harmonic rotation patterns and the significant levels produced by these potential roations I am developing an ability to guage where the market is heading for intraday trading purposes.   The crew at MTS with their varied perspectives and knowledge add a different tool to understand where the market is heading.  With the algorythimic institutional traders dominating the landscape the MTS knowledge is priceless in avoiding disaster.   A lot of this is only calculated guessing but enough clues provide good knowledge about when it is best to take trades.

Additionally I find the MTS knowledge of the market and interweaving of the potential impact of world events to be key is helping to know when to swing trade in the equities.  For me it is difficult to swing trade the futures but the equities are a different story.   Watching, the pulse of the futures through charts, harmonic rotations, and the opinons of the MTS crew, give a decent view of what may happen such that good swing trades in the equities can be made.

To be a good futures trader, I believe you need to have absolute intense focus on the market.  If you can afford the time I believe that MTS along with Kathy Garber’s harmonics could be all the tools you need to steadily do well.  An additional benefit, if you can stayed tuned in from start to finish , is the feeling of being part of a group.  Trading can be a lonely thing and it is nice to see and hear constant comments about what the market is doing at the moment,  what trades are being contemplated, and the sage information and observations of the some of the more experienced members.  I really enjoy Danny Riley’s observations and his opinions before and after the market.  Sometimes I agree with him and it gives me comfort to know I am thinking correctly.  Sometimes I am shocked by what he says and realize that I had no idea of some important factor that may cause or have caused the market to move significantly.  The more I listen the more I learn.

This is my honest opinion of the value that I have gained from being part of the MTS team.

To say I am an experienced trader is true; but to say I am an experienced profitable trader not so much!

But that is definitely changing – let me explain:

I have strived over many years, spending thousands of dollars on “education” and various methods and have found some success, only to lose it as the market changed its character but I was so ill equipped to change with it. Yes, even once blowing out an account before deciding it was time to pursue another career.

I became a middle school teacher and was totally fulfilled dealing with 165 13-14 year-olds each year; I’m not sure that was saner than trading for a living. I enjoyed a truly wonderful career and am very proud of what I accomplished. But trading was always there during my holidays and summers, and I knew someday I would succeed at that too. The determination and drive were always there, but I needed to find something that fit with me.

I recently retired from teaching and my timing could not have been better. In the process of searching for that perfect fit, I stumbled on an offer for a Saturday webinar offered by Mr. Top Step. While the entire event was enlightening, I felt an immediate connection to a presenter named Kathy Garber. I knew about Fibonacci levels but had never been exposed to harmonic patterns. Kathy’s explanations were intriguing and at the same time understandable. I wanted to know more.

I became a member of Mr. Top Step and it was there that I became aware of the amazing qualities Kathy had to offer. Not only did she immediately offer to email her subscription daily charts for a free month, but I saw how dedicated she was to sharing her work with everyone at the site. She is so open about sharing her trades so that we can trade along with her. I have bombarded her with questions in a private chat connection and her answers have not only been prompt, but she continually asks me how she can help me further. This is all on her own time. To say she has patience is an understatement, and she actually seems excited to watch people get those “aha” moments. Her guidance has already improved my trading immensely, especially when it comes to managing a trade. From experience I know that is not one of my strengths. And most importantly, I have been profitable every week because I have Kathy in my corner.

I have tried to express my gratitude to Kathy for her generosity and guidance but somehow it feels inadequate. I hope that these heartfelt words let you know what an amazing teacher and mentor she is and how fortunate I am to have found her.

I have been studying and trading Harmonics with Kathy for the past year and I felt strongly that I needed to let other traders know how much of a difference it has made in my trading.  My success and struggles have always been directly correlated to the mental science of trading and how solid of of a plan I have used to trade.  I have never had so much consistency and confidence as I do right now in my trading game and one of the reasons is that I have been taught by Kathy to use this very specific style to command all aspects of my trading plan with accuracy and intent.
